This Okauchee Lake getaway has that “Up North” vibe despite being located in Waukesha County. The homeowners had architectural plans when they approached Rob Miller Homes to build their dream home. The end result is rustic, bold, and emanates a warmth and coziness that comes naturally from all that wood.
It has classic features of a log home including a metal roof, stone fireplace, and wood floors made of reclaimed fence posts and barn boards. The main level’s open floorplan was designed for gatherings. The master bedroom and bath are also on the first floor. The upstairs features a loft, two bedrooms and a jack and jill bath. The walkout lower level is entertainment space, and provides easy lake access.
This is the first log home Rob Miller Homes has ever built, and we were happy for the opportunity to add a few new tools to our toolkit.
