The owners of this stylish contemporary home came to Rob Miller Homes with a vision and a set of plans, but the home as originally designed was too expensive for them to build. Rob and his team were able to redesign it to make it budget friendly, without perceptibly altering their original dream.
This custom home has crisp, clean lines, a focus on natural finishes, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Golden Lake in Oconomowoc. Quarter sawn oak and flat panels were used for the cabinets, doors and trim. A four-season porch was designed to replicate a porch that had been their favorite room in the previous cabin. Its wall of windows creates a spectacular view and takes full advantage of natural light.
